Lost Boys: The Tribe

So, on July 29th, 2008 we get to witness the sequal to The Lost Boys. The original is my all time favourite movie and for some reason I have a hunch that this new release will not live up to the first. Often times these movie producers should leave well enough alone, however, with the two Coreys needing work, why not re-unite them on the movie that made them famous. For all the vampire lovers out there, I hope this is a good one but lacking great performances from well know actors often times leaves a movie like this one in the "B" category. Stay tuned for the movie's review, yes I am investing $10.00 to go see it. No promises.

Vampire Communities

I was doing some research today on the Fullerton Vampire, and Vampire communities popped up on my page. For all you Goth lovers and Vampires there are actual communites and social affairs you can attend. I never new such things existed, well I did, but not to this large extent. Many dark siders get together just for the fun of it and in full costume too. What a trip. If you feel the need to join one of these groups, all you need to do is log on to the internwt and surch Vampire comminities near your residence, you will be amased

The Fullerton Vampire

It was about 14 years ago when talk came around town that a Vampire was in sight. This creature had no sensitivity to light, therefore, he was seen driving around town in his beat up metallic gray hearse. He had no name, simply the Fullerton Vampire. Fullerton is a city in Orange County, California. Fullerton is pretty big, about 7 miles from Disneyland, nothing really interesting has ever happened here, just the ordinary. One day while in school, talk of this strange individual came about; at the time I really wasn't into this whole undead thing so I was pretty uninterested about the whole idea. As I was driving home from school, riding in the next lane from me....The Fullerton Vampire. Who would have known, I really got to see him, who else would drive a hearse around town just for fun. No joke, he had long hair, goate, and dressed in black. He did manage to turn his head, he must have sensed me staring him down. He was actually quite attractive that young fellow, and when he smiled he revealed a set of fangs. Wow what a character, I wonder if he still thinks he is part of the undead world. I guess I'll never know.

Vlad the Impaler

Vlad III, Prince of Wallachia called "Vlad the Impaler" or simply Dracula, was born in Romania in 1431-december 1476. As a prince, Vlad defended Wallachia from Ottoman Expansionism. Many thought of him as the prince of justice, however, the vast majority viewed him as the prince of darkness. He is said to have impaled his enemies during his reign, and drink their blood but nobody knows that for sure. His legacy continues through century's, written books, movies, tales, many seem to glorify this troubled warrior, while others make him out to be a undead creature lurking in the night. Whatever the case may be, vampire tales have survived for centuries and will live on until the end of time, the only thing we know for sure is that Vlad did exist and though he was not an immortal, he immortalized the ficticious creatures rendered from his life.

The need to feed

I sometimes feel like a vampire. This is serious, I love to bite, I really do. I often bite the man that I 'm with so hard I don't know that I am hurting him. I don't draw blood, however, there is a need to just bite, the harder the better. I don't think the drinking of the blood would necessarily do it for me, but the biting of the neck is so sexy. I love it. I would love it even more if the stereotipical male vampire with the long hair, chizzeled jaw and rock hard abs would do the biting, but we all know that does not exist. I think that if there is such a thing as a past life, I would have been a Vampire, a hot one at that always ready to be with my Vampire love. Well I am sure that there are millions of people world wide who share the same passion as I, however, there are some that take it to extreme levels. Some individuals are so consumed by their Vampiric ways that they go as far as purchasing custom fangs restorations that get bonded on their cuspids ( canines). They also drink human blood from consenting individuals, I personally think this is outlandish do to many pathogens that harvest in the blood and go undetected for years. Lets face it, being a Vampire in the 21 st Century is just not safe, so go ahead and desire the undead, even dress up like them at Halloween, but for crying out loud ......Do not drink someone elses blood!

Vampire disclaimer

I have recently changed the theme of my blog to something that is more interesting to me than just talking about the ordinary. Vampires. Vampire myths and tales have been around for centuries, some seem to believe that thet do exist, however, we all know that there are no such thing as these undead creatures that pray in the dark for innocent blood, and sleep in coffins bueried in cellars. Many people seem to be compelled by the idea of these scary but yet sensual creatures, think about it, in the modern day novels, by Ann Rice, J. Ward and many others, the vampires are made out to be sexy, lusty, hungry for love and blood creatures who make constant love to their human counterparts and hold ordianary jobs. In posts to come all content is purely ficticious, nothing has been taken out of context and in no shape or form mimicing any authors out there. The information I do provide is from legitimate sources that may or may not hold true. With that said, enjoy my post which is still under construction.

Haunting on the Queen Mary

It was about five years ago when it all happened. My boyfriend at the time ( who I later married) had aranged a day trip to Long Beach, CA with the Queen Mary being one of the sights to see. We both had been on the ship before, however, never on a guided tour; being October and all we decided to pay the extra ticket and go ahead with the tour. While down in the boiler room we had noticed various postings of ghost sightings, but we dissmissed those without even a second glance. I do not believe in ghosts, however, that day proved me wrong. The boiler room had gated areas that are not accessable to the general public, however, my partner and I decided to scale one of them. While walking across metal planks and ragged edges, we took a turn into pretty much nowhere, we were lost. Well, not technically lost, but pretty much away from the crowd, this was not the scary part. The scary part was when silence descended around us and a cold gust of wind blew from nowhere, a sort of hissing sound came from under one of the boilers and the sound of clancking metal from behind us. Keep in mind, we were completely alone in this non-functioning ship. We had never been so scared in our lives, that was when we glanced at each other and took off running...and boy were we happy to get off that ship.
